From an initial review through to providing a full programme test management capability, we helped our client deliver a huge card migration programme, with market-leading functionality.
The brief
From conducting a simple programme test review, our remit quickly changed to include leading all our client’s test management and bringing a drifting system test phase back on schedule. Timescales were extremely tight requiring the build, test and implementation of an end-to-end card processing platform, and the migration of 5.5m active cards, within 10 months.
The solution
Leading test management for the full programme saw our team managing over 50 test professionals to execute and pass upwards of 21,000 test scripts, across three test phases. We also created a defect management capability that closed over 3,200 defects while testing the functionality of an entirely new store and credit card platform.
Our team also tested and delivered a ‘greenfield’ front-end acquisition and servicing platform, with market-leading functionality providing instant decision-making and credit capabilities.
The results
The programme launched successfully, hitting all of its baseline objectives. Having designed and created a new testing methodology for delivering the programme, we were delighted when our client’s Testing Centre of Excellence adopted our methodology across all of their subsequent testing programmes in EMEA.
